The NYPD is probing a death leap from a Washington Heights building, police said Saturday.

The individual is believed to have jumped from the Audubon Houses housing project at 1909 Amsterdam Ave. at about 2 p.m., authorities said.

EMS workers pronounced the individual dead at the scene, an NYPD spokesman said.

The victim’s name was not released, and no other information was available as of Saturday evening.
