Two days after a man’s corpse was found in a flaming car with a gunshot wound to the head, police ruled the death a homicide.

The man’s body was found in the passenger seat of a flaming Ford Fiesta around 2 a.m. Saturday near the intersection of Court and Bay streets in Red Hook, authorities said.

Police confirmed Monday that the unidentified man died of a homicide.
