The death of a 16-month-old Brooklyn tot — who was allegedly beaten by her teen dad on Father’s Day — has officially been ruled a homicide, police said Tuesday.

Shaquan Taylor, 19, fractured the skull of 16-month-old Nylah Lewis during a visit to his Coney Island home on June 18, officials said.

She was pronounced dead five days later at Maimonides Medical Center.

The city Medical Examiner’s Office officially ruled Lewis’ death a homicide by “abusive head trauma” June 26, a spokeswoman said.

Taylor was initially charged with assault and endangering the welfare of a child, but those charges will likely be upgraded, authorities said.

“We will seek to upgrade the charges in the grand jury,” a spokesman for the Brooklyn DA’s office said.
