A Long Island Rail Road train fatally struck a man on the tracks yesterday near the Deer Park station, officials said.

The victim was identified by MTA police as 42-year-old Gary McCue of Commack, who was struck by a Manhattan-bound train that had left Ronkonkoma in Suffolk County at around 7:30 a.m.

There were no reports of injuries aboard the train, officials said.
