Two dapper thieves netted $6,500 in cash and $5,000 in Best Buy gift cards after stealing the identify of another man, cops said.
The two suspects, both seen on surveillance wearing eyeglasses, suits and ties, managed to withdraw a total of $6,500 from three Chase Banks in Brooklyn on April 13, police said.
Two days later, they made a $263.73 purchase at the Target at 517 E. 117th Street and bought a $5,000 gift card at Best Buy in East Harlem, according to police.
The victim filed a police report in Brooklyn after noticing the fraudulent activity in his account.
