An unidentified man’s decomposed body was found floating in the East River off Pier 5 in Brooklyn Heights on Sunday, cops said.

The body showed trauma to the face, but law-enforcement authorities said it wasn’t clear if the death was the result of an assault.

The remains may have been in the water for about a month, police said.
