Cops are investigating a decomposed body that turned up inside of a crate at a Bronx marina early on Tuesday.

The body was found in a crate at the Locust Point Marina on Reynolds Avenue at about 12:15 p.m.

Police did not immediately know whether it was a male of female body, or how the person died.

The city Medical Examiner’s office will determine the cause of death.
