City Comptroller John Liu tossed his tarnished hat in the ring yesterday in a bid to become the city’s first Asian-American mayor.

In front of hundreds of supporters at City Hall, Liu also dismissed the investigation into his campaign fund-raising and took swipes at Mayor Bloomberg.
