Dems on the hooky
ALBANY — Democrats top the state Senate’s truancy chart.
Members of the Democratic Conference have missed more than three times as many legislative session days as their Republicans counterparts since the last election, The Post has learned.
Records revealed that there were 193 absences for the 26 Democrats and just 59 missed days for the 33 Republicans.
The top truants, state Sens. Shirley Huntley (D-Queens) and Suzi Oppenheimer (D-Mamaroneck), each missed 32 of 129 session days.
