Sean “Diddy” Combs was denied bail and will remain in jail until his sentencing, Judge Arun Subramanian ruled.
The hip-hop mogul’s eyes opened wide — and his mouth went into a pout — as the judge read his decision.
Subramanian said bail is required after someone convicted of prostitution charges, and he focused on the fact that the Bad Boy Records founder posed a danger if released — the judge noting the violence Combs unleashed on his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura.
The judge noted that Combs’ own team admitted to the domestic violence claims but said the “confession was unnecessary because defendant’s violence was starkly depicted in the 2016 video at the InterContinental Hotel.”

“For present purposes, the defendant is unable to meet his burden,” Subramanian said.

APThe judge said the defense didn’t prove there wasn’t a lack of danger to any person or the community given the evidence committed at trial.”
“Under these circumstances, it’s impossible for the defendant to show he poses no danger to any person,” Subramanian added.
Combs’ defense originally asked for him to be released on a $1 million bond, a mere sliver of his staggering $400 million net worth.
He was acquitted of all the charges he faced in the months-long trial except for the prostitution counts. Instead of facing the life sentence levied against him, Combs could be behind bars for up to 20 years – but experts told The Post he’ll probably only serve a few months.
Combs’ time in courts isn’t over just yet, though.
He still faces a mountain of civil lawsuits from both men and women alleging anything from sexual impropriety to rape.
One of the suits, filed by Chicago record producer Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones Jr. claimed that Combs used him to acquire drugs and prostitutes to “perform sex acts to the pleasure of Mr. Combs.”
Another woman who filed a suit alleged that Combs dangled her over the edge of a balcony on the 17th floor of a hotel.
The charges he faced during his lengthy criminal trial surrounded his notorious “freak-off” parties fueled by drugs and sex and his alleged use of violence and intimidation to force people into acting out his fantasies.
