Kerry Morgan, the former best friend of feds’ star witness Cassie Ventura in the sex-trafficking and racketeering case against Sean “Diddy” Combs, testified Monday in Manhattan about “terrifying” abuse she says she witnessed her ex-BFF endure at the hands of the Bad Boy Records founder — and was a victim of herself.
Morgan, 39, described in graphic detail how Diddy “would punch [Cassie], choke her, drag her, slap her in the mouth,” and how he choked Morgan too and once beat her with a wooden hanger.
Earlier Monday, singer Dawn Richard, 41, of Danity Kane — a pop group formed on Sean “Diddy” Combs’ early 2000s reality show “Making the Band” — testified about “frequently” seeing him beat Cassie, who testified in the case for four days last week about an alleged decade of rape, abuse and forced “freak-off” sex marathons with male escorts orchestrated by Diddy.
Combs, 55, has pleaded not guilty to one count of racketeering conspiracy, two counts of sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion, and two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution.
The trial is not televised because cameras are prohibited inside the federal courthouse — so watch this space for all the latest updates.
