Disabled tragedy
A passenger in a bus for special-needs adults was killed yesterday on Long Island when the vehicle was side-swiped by a tractor-trailer, cops said.
The horrific smash-up occurred at about 3:30 p.m. on Sound Avenue in Riverhead.
The identity of the victim — who attended Maryhaven Center for Hope in Port Jefferson — was withheld pending family notification.
