The Correction Officers’ Benevolent Association scrambled to yank embarrassing radio spots featuring its disgraced ex-head after his arrest on corruption charges.

After Norman Seabrook’s bust for an alleged pension-fund kickback scheme, the union immediately asked New York-area talk-radio station ad reps to scrub the commercials.

“Up until yesterday, Seabrook read the radio spots himself, doing so with an air of defiance and tough-guy machismo,” said a source. “Not anymore.”

A replacement ad from the union has an anonymous voice-over, instead, network insiders confirmed.
