A disturbed man snuck into a popular Times Square restaurant and barricaded himself into the freezer early Tuesday morning, cops said.
The unidentified man ran into Carmine’s on 44th Street at around 1:30 a.m. and strolled into the back freezer where he locked himself in before being coaxed out, a manager said.
“I have no idea who he is,” the manager said after the incident.
“He doesn’t work here. We were closing and somehow he got in. He looked drunk.”
The man was taken away in an ambulance. It was not clear if he was charged with a crime.
