New details have offered a sickening glimpse inside the twisted relationship between singer D4vd and the teen girl he allegedly sexually abused before allegedly killing her in an effort to hide his own crimes.

Prosecutors laid out a disturbing timeline of the relationship between Celeste Rivas and D4vd, real name David Burke, in the years leading up to her alleged murder in charging documents obtained by The California Post. Burke was charged Monday with murder.

On or between September 2023 and September 2024 Burke committed the crime of continuous sexual abuse “who did unlawfully engage in three and more acts of ‘substantial sexual conduct,'” according to the documents.

The new timeline suggests Rivas could have been as young as 12 when the alleged abuse happened.

The dismembered body of Celeste Rivas was discovered September 2025 in the trunk of a Tesla belonging to D4vd, real name David Burke. Rivas had been reported missing by her family in April 2025.

The charging documents accuse Burke of murdering Rivas “on or about April 23, 2025” … meaning Rivas was likely murdered shortly after she was reported missing and several months before her body was discovered.

“On or about May 5, 2025” Burke is accused of committing the crime of mutilation of human remains.

D4vd, 21, was charged with first-degree murder Monday in Los Angeles and could face the death penalty. His charge came with special circumstances including lying in wait, murder for financial gain and murder of a witness to an investigation.

LA County District Attorney Nathan Hochman said Burke murdered Rivas out of fear an investigation into their sexual relationship could derail his music career.

He was also charged with lewd and lascivious sexual acts with an individual under 14 years old, and mutilating the human remains of a body.
