DJ AM died of an accidental overdose, the medical examiner ruled yesterday, revealing the record spinner was high on a mind-blowing laundry list of drugs, from cocaine to Xanax.

Toxicology reports showed DJ AM — real name Adam Goldstein — had cocaine, OxyContin, Hydrocodone, Xanax, Ativan, Klonopin, Benadryl and Levamisole in his system.

The NYPD doesn’t plan to investigate, even if Goldstein might have scored the drugs illegally.

A police source said: “It’s over . . . It’s been ruled an accidental death.”

Goldstein, who was found dead on Aug. 28 in his SoHo apartment, had just completed an MTV reality show, “Gone Too Far,” about his efforts to help other addicts.

An MTV spokeswoman insisted the network has not made a final decision about airing “Gone.”

A drug expert said he’s not surprised DJ AM’s mix of stimulants and painkillers led to death.

“When the cocaine wears off, all you’re left with is the painkillers and you could stop breathing,” said John Michael O’Brien, professor at the College of Notre Dame of Maryland School of Pharmacy.
