A Big Apple-based personal trainer says a doctor refused to remove the breast implants she was convinced were making her sick — because he didn’t want to ruin her “Sports Illustrated body.”

Fitness influencer Bec Donlan, 33, told RealSelf that she got the implants 11 years ago because she was “self-conscious” about being born with a concave chest.

The Australian native loved her new breasts so much, she was willing to overlook fears that they were behind a series of health woes, including “crazy stomach problems,” chronic fatigue and numbness.

“I had heard of breast implant illness, but I thought it sounded like bulls–t — and to be honest, I didn’t care, because I really loved my boobs and didn’t want to give them up,” she told RealSelf.

“I would put up with any issue to keep my boobs.”

As her health continued to deteriorate, Donlan discovered last July that her implants had been recalled — and says a doctor told her bluntly, “You need to get your implants taken out ASAP.”

But the tough part was finding a doctor willing to do it, says Donlan, famed for her popular “Sweat With Bec” classes across the city.

“Doctors told me they wouldn’t do it because it wouldn’t look good,” she told RealSelf.

“One even said, ‘You’ve got a Sports Illustrated body and I’m going to leave you looking terrible, so I’m not doing it,'” she claimed.

She finally settled on a board-certified plastic surgeon in California for the op — posting an emotional confessional on Instagram in late December to prepare her followers for the big change to come.

“Seeing myself after the explant was … a lot,” Donlan admitted.

“It’s not cute — it’s a very deflated-looking situation. But it was crazy how much better I felt right away.”

The fitness entrepreneur has continued to post about her journey after the reduction, including a topless photo with her arm covering her flatter chest.

“My body is online a lot because of my job, and this was obviously going to be a big physical change. If I hadn’t made this public, I probably wouldn’t have left my apartment,” she told RealSelf.

“I loved my implants, but I had to choose health over aesthetics.”
