BEAR: Outside his Cold Spring Harbor home last night. (VICTORALCORN.COM)
Every dog has its day in court.
A Long Island judge ruled in favor of a pooch accused of “viciously” pouncing on a limo driver, saying the lovable Labrador doesn’t have a mean bone in his body.
The case against Bear was tossed on Jan. 15 by Nassau County Judge Dana Winslow after witnesses testified the pooch was simply “rising up to greet” the driver.
Driver Hossein Bashang, 57, had sued Bear’s owner, Christopher Pisano, 41, for $1 million, claiming the dog knocked him down from behind on the job in Huntington.
He claimed the so-called attack had rendered him disabled and unable to work in February 2010.
