Armed robbers broke into a Queens home early Tuesday and shot the family dog dead before making off with $4,000 in cash, cops said.
“Where is it?!’’ the crooks yelled before pumping bullets into Foxy, the family pet, at the Jamaica home of the Wright family.
“I was asleep. I woke up to movements and no words at all,” said Darius Wright.
“She was close to a decade [in age],” he explained, describing the pooch. “It wasn’t just my dog. It was the family’s dog.”
After grabbing the money, the cold-hearted bandits fled in a black Jeep Cherokee.
Cops are still on the hunt for the suspects.
Foxy is the second dog in two weeks to be targeted by bandits.
A 3-month-old Siberian husky named Luna was stolen by a group of thugs during a Bronx break-in last week.
The thieves, who were later apprehended, also set their sights on the family’s three other dogs—pepper-spraying them and blasting them with paintballs.
Luna was eventually found and returned to her owners.
