Democratic vandals, beware: Tear down my Romney lawn signs and we’ll take a chomp out of your hide!
That’s the message an infuriated Victoria Gregory sent to her tony Montclair, NJ, neighbors after a vandal twice ripped down her blue and white Mitt Romney-Paul Ryan signs in front of her Highland Avenue home.
Gregory is now fighting back — with her hulking, 120-pound German shepherd, Max.
She has erected a new Romney sign on her lawn with a note attached to a tree that reads: “Dear vandal: Thank you for your direct contribution to the Romney-Ryan ’12 campaign. Every time you take down our sign, we will happily: 1) Buy another 2) Contribute $50 to the Romney campaign.”
“PS: Try to steer clear of our dog, a 120lb. German Shepherd that LOVES the taste of cowardly lib in the morning . . . or any time of the day, really.”
A photo of Max is attached to the note.
Montclair boasts of its tolerance and diversity — except, apparently, when it comes to residents who back Republicans.
“This in the town of so-called ‘tolerance.’ It’s incredible. It’s horrible,” said Gregory.
