Donations continue to pour in to the families of assassinated hero cops Wenjian Liu and Rafael Ramos.
On Saturday night, the Fraternal Order of Police, Rocco Laurie Lodge 22, hosted a benefit performance at the Fast Break Basketball Center on Staten Island with A Band of Rogues, the Strictly 60s Band and the NYPD Pipes and Drums.
The event came as an anonymous donor from Hong Kong gave $1 million to the cops’ families.
The father of Liu, who had no children, will get $100,000 a year for five years. The other $500,000 will be added to an educational fund for Ramos’ kids.
The Silver Shield Foundation has set aside $40,000 to educate Ramos’ kids and the Steven Siller Tunnel to Towers foundation is paying off the mortgages on the officers’ homes.
Fairways Markets also started a fund for the families with $25,000.
