City officials and about 100 residents Saturday solemnly marked the year anniversary of the East Village blast that killed two people.

The thunderous explosion took place at the Sushi Park restaurant at Second Avenue and East Seventh Street. Restaurant patron Nicholas Figueroa, 23, and worker Moises Lucon, 26, were found dead in the rubble days after the blast.

The five-story building and two adjacent buildings were leveled.
