The movement to drag CNBC commentator and respected supply-side economist Larry Kudlow into the Senate race to challenge Chuck Schumer continues to pick up steam

Serphin Maltese — co founder of the New York State Conservative Party and a former State Senator from Queens — is joining the recently created Draft Larry Kudlow Committee, which aims to raise money for the TV star’s still-undeclared candidacy.

Maltese will serve as the group’s co-chairman.

“He [Kudlow] is a leader for a strong national defense, he’s a staunch defender of our Second Amendment rights and he opposes abortion on demand. These are the vital issues that concern all of us in New York State and the nation,” Maltese said in a statement.

In an interview with the Post, Kudlow refused to rule out a run and said he was “honored” to be considered for the job.
