Maybe he couldn’t wait to knock back another one.

A sloshed, 63-year-old Long Island driver lost control of his car and smashed into the front porch of a bar, authorities said yesterday.

George Plunkett, of Coram, careened into the Wellington Bar and Grill in Middle Island at 11 p.m. Friday, injuring two bystanders and damaging the building.

The victims’ injuries were not considered life-threatening.

Plunkett is charged with aggravated DWI, according to Suffolk police.
