A school bus driver was arrested after leaving a child inside a locked bus in Brooklyn Monday, officials said.

The 58-year-old driver finished his route and parked the bus on Rockaway Parkway near Avenue L in Canarsie around 10 a.m. cops said.

Around 12:30 p.m. passersby saw a 10-year-old boy crying inside of the locked bus and called police.

The driver was arrested when he returned to the scene, cops said.

The child was taken to Kings County Hospital as a precaution but appeared otherwise unharmed, police said.

Charges against the driver are pending.
