A 70-year-old man has been arrested for a hit-and-run that left a Brooklyn woman dead, cops said Monday.
Roman Slobodkin was driving on Emmons Avenue in Sheepshead Bay just before 5 p.m. on Wednesday when he turned onto Ocean Avenue, allegedly striking the Sheryl Augustine, 66, as she crossed the street, according to police.
Slobodkin did not stop, police said.
Augustine was rushed to Coney Island Hospital, where she died, cops said.
Slobodkin was arrested and charged Monday with leaving the scene of an accident, failure to yield to a pedestrian and disobeying a traffic device, according to the NYPD.
