A 32-year-old man died in Brooklyn early Sunday after his car smashed into the back of a garbage truck, according to cops.

Photos show the 2002 Nissan Altima completely mangled at the front where it crashed into the sanitation truck in Canarsie just before 4 a.m.

Victim Kenneth Pamphile was found “unconscious and unresponsive” in the wreckage on Flatlands Avenue and East 88th Street, the NYPD said.

He was cut out of the car by firefighters but was pronounced dead on arrival at Brookdale University Hospital, the NYPD said.

There were two city sanitation workers at the scene at the time — one in the stationary truck and the other standing nearby. Neither was injured, police said.

The NYPD’s Highway District’s Collision Investigation Squad is still probing the crash.
