A motorist amazingly emerged from this gruesome Brooklyn car accident Friday night with only minor injuries, authorities said.
The silver Toyota four-door was cruising along Shore Road near Third Avenue in Bay Ridge around 7:05 p.m. when the driver lost control.
The Toyota crashed through the guardrail, careened into a waterfront park, and came to rest on its roof.
First responders rescued the driver from the crumpled metal hulk, and brought him to Lutheran Hospital with minor injuries.
The circumstances that led to the smash-up were not immediately known, and no other injuries were reported.
