A suspect who allegedly dragged a cop with a stolen car on the Westchester-Bronx border was arrested in Stamford, Conn., on Friday, authorities said.
Howard Rowlett, 24, was riding in a stolen black BMW on Thursday at about 2 p.m. in Mount Vernon when two cops approached him on foot, cops said.
Rowlett allegedly hit the gas, dragging one of the cops for a short distance before the officer worked himself free. One of the officers fired a single shot at Rowlett during the incident, police sources said.
He’ll be extradited from Connecticut to face charges in New York.
