The Porsche SUV driver who hit a 14-year-old boy in Greenpoint on Sunday night was with his wife, their twin toddlers and their nanny at the time of the accident, prosecutors said Monday.
Guo Lu, 39, allegedly cut off another driver, lost control and plowed into the teen, who was on the sidewalk, according to prosecutors.
“The child went back about 10 feet” from the impact, Assistant District Attorney Tziyonah Langsam said at the Brooklyn arraignment.
Lu is charged with assault in the second degree and reckless endangerment. He was released on $3,500 bail. The teen is expected to survive.
