A drone smashed into a Con Edison power plant near the East River in Brooklyn Thursday afternoon, police sources said.
The drone broke into several pieces after striking the building at 1 Hudson Avenue, near the Hudson Navy Yard in Vinegar Hill, at about 4:40 p.m.
Police are investigating and have yet to identify the owner.
