A drone was spotted hovering near La Guardia Airport Tuesday, law-enforcement sources said.

It was first seen by a passenger aboard Air Canada Flight 718 as the jet approached Runway 22 at 5:30 p.m., the sources said.

Nine minutes later, the pilot of United Airlines Flight 1143 spotted a drone hovering at about 1,000 feet while making the same approach.

The NYPD and FAA are investigating.
