A 25-year-old man drowned in the Hudson River last night after he fell off Pier 45 in the West Village while goofing around with his friends, cops and witnesses said.

“We saw them play-fighting and then we saw one guy climb up on the railing,” said Elijah Jones, 25. “I don’t know if he jumped or slipped.”

Jones said three of the dead man’s friends jumped in a vain bid to save him.
