A Staten Island drug dealer was charged with manslaughter and criminally negligent homicide for selling painkillers to a person who later overdosed and died — the first such charges in the city’s history.

Stephen Cummings — who was busted in a massive takedown of opioid and heroin dealers in the borough — was hit with the homicide charges for selling fentanyl to 51-year-old Richard Zeifert in December, the Staten Island District Attorney’s Office said on Thursday. The drug allegedly led to Zeifert’s overdose death.
