A drunk driver struck and killed a pedestrian in East Harlem, cops said Wednesday.
The fatal crash happened just after 5 p.m. Tuesday when 23-year-old Farkell Hopkins slammed his Safelite auto windshield repair truck into the man, who was crossing E. 125th Street near Madison Avenue mid-block, according to police.
The victim, whose name was not immediately released, died at the scene.
Hopkins stayed at the scene and was arrested, police said.
The Queens man faces charges of vehicular manslaughter and driving while intoxicated, according to cops.
