A Long Island man who had just finished his shift as a radiology supervisor was pronounced dead at the hospital where he worked early Friday after he was struck head-on by a drunken driver, Suffolk cops said.

A sloshed Natalia Simons, 36, of Kings Park was driving a 2013 Nissan Rogue northbound when she crossed into a southbound lane at 12:05 a.m. on Route 25A in Smithtown, authorities said.

Simons, whose Facebook page lists her as the owner of Grey Street Photography in Kings Park, slammed into a 2012 Toyota Camry driven by Larry Garwood, 59, of Smithtown, police said.

Garwood was rushed to St. Catherine of Siena Medical Center — where he worked — but was later pronounced dead.

“There was so much he wanted to do,” his devastated wife, Kim Garwood, told WNBC/Channel 4. “He’ll never walk the street again. He’ll never laugh with the family again. He’s gone; he’s gone.”

Simons was arraigned on a DWI charge Friday and released on $50,000 bail.

Simons told prosecutors she had had a few glasses of wine with a friend but no food before the crash, and her lawyer said she was filled with remorse, the station said.

“My client’s thoughts and prayers go out to the victim’s family,” attorney John Lewis Jr. said.

The DWI charge could be upgraded once the case is presented to a grand jury, authorities said.
