A college student is suing his Brooklyn apartment building for failing to provide a handicapped-accessible elevator after he broke his leg in a drunken escapade last summer.

David Espinoza, 25, says a building manager at The Espoir in Williamsburg told him to “use the stairs” to get to the main elevator.

His Manhattan federal court suit seeks more than $200,000 in damages from the luxury rental building for allegedly violating the federal Fair Housing Act.

Espinoza, who pays $500 a month to share a two-bedroom apartment with three roommates, said he was injured July 1 after returning home from a party without his keys. He admitted having “a few drinks,” and fell from the roof onto a fifth-floor terrace while trying to get in through his window.

The building managers didn’t respond to requests for comment.
