The award-winning director of a critically acclaimed new documentary was busted for driving drunk in the Hamptons early Sunday morning, police said.

Nick Wrathall, of Marina Del Ray, Calif., was pulled over at 2:50 a.m. by East Hampton Village police after he was spotted weaving across Montauk Highway.

His latest film, “Gore Vidal: The United States of Amnesia,” debuted at this year’s Tribeca Film Festival to rave reviews.
