A bumbling car thief stole four vehicles from a handful of Staten Island fitness centers – but was easily identified by cops when he left behind a photo ID at one of the heist scenes.

Marc Steinberg last snatched a luxury 2007 Audi A4 from a gym-goer at Synergy Fitness on Richmond Hill Road near Country Drive West around 10 p.m. October 17. But the absent minded crook left his non-drivers state ID on the ground on Richmond Hill Road.

The klutz screwed up again after cops discovered the first vehicle he stole in the parking lot of another Retro Fitness Center in Ewing, NJ.

He first snatched a pair of keys for a 2007 Toyota RAV4 from Retro Fitness on Veterans Road West in September and a 2009 Honda Odyssey from on October 4 at the same location and finally a 2012 Toyota Camry October 15 all in the evening hours, according to police. The three other vehicles have not yet been recovered.

Steinberg has no arrest record.
