An NYPD detective was arrested for allegedly driving drunk after he crashed his car on the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway Thursday night, authorities said.
Thomas Handley, a detective from the 90th precinct in Williamsburg, crashed at around 11:30 p.m. He was not hurt.
He was charged with DWI and suspended, according to cops.
Police would not comment on whether he’s had any prior violations.
