CATSKILL, NY — A Hudson Valley man is being held at a hospital after he was arrested for driving with a blood-alcohol level five times the legal limit, police said.
State troopers said 36-year-old Brian Tumas, of Kingston, was pulled over on Interstate 87 in the town of Catskill, 30 miles south of Albany.
They said he was taken to Kingston Hospital after it was determined his blood-alcohol content was 0.43 percent, more than five times the 0.08 level for DWI under state law.
