E. Side buses look fob-ulous
Eight East Side bus lines are wiping out swiping.
The MTA will test technology that will let M14, M23, M79, M86, M101, M102, M103 and BxM7 riders use a key fob or card to buzz through fare lines like cars though E-ZPass.
The program is expected to start sometime between October and December.
The device will link to a bank account and automatically deduct fares. A similar system is installed at several subway stations along Lexington Avenue.
