This would-be kidnapper tried to grab a 4-year-old boy in the East Village yesterday, police said.

The little boy and his nanny were walking down East 6th Street near Avenue B at 11:30 a.m. when the thug grabbed the youngster and tried to run off with him.

The horrified nanny screamed and managed to snatch the boy back. The man fled down the street.
