Police are hunting a robber who has made off with jewelry and computers from six Upper East Side apartments.

The bespectacled thief, who sports gold-rimmed glasses, usually gets into buildings via service entrances and looks for apartments with unlocked doors.

On Tuesday he struck at 82nd Street and Lexington Avenue at 11:45 p.m. The evening before, he stole jewelry from two Upper East Side apartments.

Early Monday, at around 1 a.m., he robbed an apartment on 82nd Street between York and East End avenues.

His jewelry-snatching spree began on April 4, when he committed two similar robberies.

He stands about 6-foot-2 and is 40 to 45 years old.
