Cops released this crystal clear video footage taken from inside a man’s East Village home which shows an unsuspecting thief ransacking the East 11th Street apartment on Monday around 3:35 p.m.

The victim had his own surveillance camera installed in his apartment which caught the suspect – shown wearing glasses, a purple T-shirt and purple gloves, plaid shorts, white sneakers and a multi-colored knapsack – entering through the front door and making his way through the apartment and shows him grabbing an iPad from behind a guitar before quickly leaving the scene.

Police said the perp also made off with the victim’s watch and his wallet.
