Two school buses parked behind a West Babylon school were destroyed by fire early Sunday morning, authorities said.

The buses were parked behind the John F. Kennedy School at 175 Brookvale Avenue and fire officials said they’re still investigating how the blaze began.

Eerie photos of the scene show the yellow school vehicles completely engulfed in lapping orange flames.

The fire was reported at 2:48 a.m. and firefighters who rushed to the scene said the two buses were destroyed and two others were damaged but they got it under control before it spread to the building.
