Workers and guests at a Downtown Brooklyn boutique hotel were shocked to learn that Joaquin “El Chapo” Guzman’s wife has been staying at the lodging while her drug lord hubby’s on trial nearby.

“I cannot believe this,” said Milton Perez, 45, a reporter from Ecuadoran TV network Teleamazonas, who’s been staying at The Tillary Hotel while covering Guzman’s trial.

“I am worried. The cartels have a lot of money, a lot of resources.”

An Instagram account purportedly belonging to Guzman’s ex-beauty queen spouse Emma Coronel Aispuro posted a photo of her in workout gear on the balcony of The Tillary facing the Manhattan Bridge on-ramp on Jan. 19, alongside hashtags including “#squats” and ” #therealemmacoronel.”

A doorman at the boutique inn on Flatbush Avenue Extension — just a few blocks from the Brooklyn federal courthouse where her husband’s case is about to be handed to the jury this week — confirmed he’d seen Coronel there, but said he believes she recently checked out.

One staffer said the hotel didn’t give them a heads up that the spouse of a notorious cocaine trafficker was staying there — but they were “happier not knowing.”

Another worker was surprised she’d been openly snapping pictures on the building’s terrace.

“She needs to go back in her room and stop taking pictures! My god!” he said after seeing the Instagram snap.

“I hope they don”t come for her while I’m working.”
