An elderly driver lost control of his car while trying to reverse into a Brooklyn parking space Monday and struck three pedestrians — killing a 67-year-old woman, authorities said.
The 85-year-old man was trying to parallel park his Lexus along Brighton Avenue near Brighton Seventh Street in Brighton Beach when he accidentally reversed onto the curb around 1:15 p.m., cops said.
He plowed into three people, including the 67-year-old woman, who was rushed to Coney Island Hospital, where she was pronounced dead. A 33-year-old man and a 70-year-old woman who were also hit were treated for minor injuries at Lutheran Hospital.
The driver remained at the scene, and police are still investigating the incident, officials said.
