An elderly Hispanic woman was attacked by an umbrella-wielding white man who was shouting bigoted comments in Queens — and was forced to defend herself by dueling him with her own umbrella, cops said Friday.

The drama unfolded as the 69-year-old victim, who is of Puerto Rican descent, left her neighborhood Key Food on 31st Street near Ditmars Boulevard in Astoria around 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, according to police.

The attacker, described as being in his 60s, confronted her and shouted:”Get the f–k out of my country! You should be deported! I should shoot you!”

He then swung an umbrella at her.

But the feisty Latina drew her own umbrella and briefly battled with him until several bystanders broke up the ruckus and the man ran off toward the subway, according to officials.

Police are investigating the incident as a possible hate crime, authorities said.

This occurred just a few hours before another unrelated racially motivated attack, when a man riding the J train was assaulted by a straphanger shouting anti-Mexican comments.
