An elderly man who suffered brain damage when he hit his head after a Brooklyn street-corner fight succumbed to his injuries, police said on Wednesday.

Jose Vera, 80, was shoved to the ground after an Aug. 26 quarrel in Fort Greene with Aristidez Perez, 41, police said. Perez was hit with multiple charges, including assault, that might be upgraded at his next court date, according to authorities.
